HISTORY OF HLAC
The Hispanic/Latino Alumni Council (HLAC) was established in December 1999. The organization began as an arena whereby Latino alumni from Kean University could network and enhance their career and professional growth. Soon thereafter, a Mentoring Program was created for Latino undergraduate students. Upon acquiring its 501(c)(3) status, HLAC is currently an independent non-profit entity. Following are highlights of its history:
